We are a South Australian Live Action Role Playing community located in SA’s Iron Triangle: Whyalla, Port Augusta and Port Pirie!

We are a chapter of Swordcraft, a battle group that uses LARP safe weapons to battle it out in a pre-1600’S medieval fantasy setting!

NEW PLAYER INFORMATION

Under 18s need to have a parent/guardian sign the registration form upon arrival!

GEAR

We have some loaner gear available so if you would like to come but don't have your own gear we can get you sorted, just let us know!

We will only be using safe foam weapons that have been approved by Swordcraft.

DRESS CODE

We encourage everyone to wear medieval or fantasy looking clothes. This can simply be a baggy unbranded shirt with a belt worn over the t-shirt and baggy pants (not jeans!). We encourage more elaborate costumes so if you have a costume or armour, please wear it! Not only will it to the atmosphere but for those wearing armour, you'll also get fit! Bam!

EVENT TYPES

Our Role Play events are like live-action D&D games where you are the character playing in the Game Masters story. Players act out as their own fictional characters with some combat scenarios thrown in the mix. These are held in Whyalla and Port Augusta.

Skirmish games are combat-focused games to help people hone their combat skills. Some game objectives include VIP, capture the flag, king of the hill and team death-match! These are held in Whyalla and Port Augusta.

Combat Training sessions solely focus on improving combat techniques, footwork, teamwork, tactics & strategy! These sessions also focus on improving weapon specialities such as 1-handed sword use, shield use and dual wielding. These are held in Port Augusta.
